U.S. Congressional Briefing Series

ICCF hosts educational programs with expert presenters on topics identified in response to Conservation Council recommendations and concerns. These include a regular schedule of Congressional Member Dinner Briefings and Congressional Luncheon and Coffee Briefings for high-level staff. Attendance ranges from smaller, more intimate gatherings of 25 to larger events of more than 500 people. ICCF briefings are videotaped to create a series of films to extend ICCF's educational reach. As relevant to the topic of education, Conservation Council members may help organize and present at briefings.

ICCF's U.S. Congressional Briefing Series focuses on the direct connection between support of intelligent management of natural resources globally and benefits to U.S. national and economic security. Conservation Council members play an integral role in the Briefing Series by providing the subject-matter experts and case studies of successful in-the-field projects that showcase free-market natural resource wealth managementâ„¢ solutions. ICCF's Briefing Series aims to provide U.S. decision-makers with the most recent research and models of public-private partnerships that address challenges in oceans, forestry, and agriculture management.
